Bitget Wallet has expanded its tokenized asset ecosystem by integrating xStocks infrastructure, giving users access to more than 130 tokenized stocks and ETFs directly through its wallet platform.
The move strengthens Bitget Wallet’s growing presence in the real-world asset sector, commonly known as RWA tokenization, where traditional financial assets are represented on blockchain networks.
Bitget Wallet expands tokenized asset access
According to the company, the integration allows its more than 90 million users to access tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs from the same interface they already use for:
- Crypto storage
- Token swaps
- On-chain trading
- Digital asset management
With the addition of xStocks products, Bitget Wallet now offers more than 300 tokenized real-world assets, including:
- Stocks
- ETFs
- Commodities
- Precious metals
- Index-linked assets
The company also stated that its tokenized equity products have processed over $30 billion in trading volume since 2025.
What are xStocks?
xStocks are blockchain-based versions of real-world stocks and exchange-traded funds. According to Kraken, each xStock is backed 1:1 by the underlying equity asset and issued as an on-chain token.
The products allow users to gain exposure to traditional financial markets while remaining within the crypto ecosystem.
At launch, xStocks included tokenized versions of major assets such as:
- Tesla
- Apple
- Nvidia
- SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust
Kraken expanded its tokenized asset strategy further after agreeing to acquire Backed Finance in late 2025.
Competition in tokenized equities continues growing
The tokenized stock market has become increasingly competitive as crypto firms race to bridge traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure.
According to RWA.xyz data:
- Ondo Finance currently leads the sector with approximately $887.8 million in tokenized stock value.
- xStocks reportedly holds around $394.2 million in tokenized equity value.
Kraken previously announced that xStocks surpassed:
- 100 fully backed tokenized stocks and ETFs
- $25 billion in transaction volume
The latest Bitget Wallet integration is expected to further increase accessibility and trading activity in the sector.
Self-custody becomes a major focus
One of the key features of the integration is that users can access tokenized assets through a self-custodial wallet rather than a traditional brokerage account.
This means users maintain control over:
- Private keys
- Wallet access
- Asset custody
Bitget Wallet said the platform supports both:
- Request-for-quote liquidity systems
- Automated market maker liquidity models
The company also stated that tokenized asset trading includes:
- Zero trading fees
- Gasless execution for supported transactions
However, the products are currently unavailable in the United States, United Kingdom, and certain other restricted regions.
Tokenized assets continue expanding beyond stocks
Bitget executives believe the tokenized asset market is moving beyond equities alone. Earlier this year, Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said investor demand is increasingly shifting toward tokenized versions of:
- Gold
- Commodities
- Other real-world financial products
The broader trend reflects growing interest in bringing traditional assets onto blockchain networks where they can trade with the speed and accessibility commonly associated with cryptocurrencies.
RWA sector gains momentum
The latest integration highlights how tokenized real-world assets are becoming one of the fastest-growing segments of the crypto industry.
As exchanges and wallet providers continue expanding tokenized stock access, the line between traditional finance and blockchain-based markets is becoming increasingly blurred.
