Solana climbed above $105 on Sept. 18 as buyers returned to the market and short liquidations helped strengthen the rebound.
SOL traded near $105.89 at the time of the report, up around 4.18% for the day after opening near $101.63. The token moved between an intraday low of roughly $100.90 and a high of $106.67.
The move extended Solana’s recovery from below $97 earlier in the week and pushed the price back toward the upper end of its September trading range.
Technical indicators remain broadly supportive, although short-term momentum is becoming stretched. SOL’s four-hour RSI has moved into overbought territory, while the price has briefly traded above the upper Bollinger Band.
Traders are now watching the $107 to $108 region as the next major liquidity zone, with $103 to $105 acting as the first area of support.
Solana price rebounds above $105
Solana’s latest rally followed a strong defense of the psychologically important $100 level.
After falling below $97 earlier in the week, SOL recovered and moved through the $103 to $105 resistance area.
At the time of the report, the token was trading near $105.89, representing a daily gain of more than 4%.
The broader crypto market also strengthened following the Federal Reserve’s latest policy decision.
Short liquidations added further buying pressure as traders positioned for additional declines were forced to close bearish positions.
The rebound helped improve Solana’s short-term technical structure, although the market still needs to hold above the breakout zone to confirm that the move has strength.
Technical indicators favor buyers above $100
Solana’s daily chart shows the token trading above several major moving averages.
The 20-day simple moving average stood near $101.87, making it the closest major dynamic support level.
The 50-day SMA was around $90.62, while the 100-day and 200-day moving averages were positioned near $83.55 and $82.68.
SOL trading above all of these levels suggests that the broader recovery trend remains intact.
The shorter-term moving averages also remain above the longer-term ones, while the 20-day average has started turning higher.
That structure generally supports the bullish side of the market as long as the price remains above nearby support.
Solana ADX signals a strong trend
The daily Average Directional Index stood at approximately 41.91.
An ADX reading above 25 is commonly interpreted as evidence that a market is experiencing a relatively strong trend.
However, ADX does not determine whether the trend is bullish or bearish.
In Solana’s case, the price trading above its major moving averages and continuing to form a recovery structure currently gives the indicator a bullish context.
The strength of that trend will depend on whether buyers can continue defending the $100 to $103 region.
SOL pushes above the upper Bollinger Band
Solana’s four-hour chart provides a more cautious short-term picture.
SOL was trading above the Bollinger Bands’ middle line near $100.09 and briefly moved above the upper band at approximately $105.47.
A move above the upper Bollinger Band can indicate strong buying momentum.
However, it can also show that the market has moved quickly in a short period and may be vulnerable to consolidation or profit-taking.
The four-hour RSI reinforces that risk.
Solana RSI enters overbought territory
Solana’s four-hour Relative Strength Index reached around 71.37.
The commonly watched overbought threshold is 70, meaning short-term momentum has become elevated.
An overbought RSI does not automatically mean the price will fall.
Strong trending markets can remain above 70 for extended periods.
Still, the reading suggests SOL’s rally has become stretched and traders may become more willing to take profits if buying pressure begins to slow.
That makes the next few resistance and support levels particularly important.
SOL liquidation map points toward $107–$108
Liquidation data shows significant leverage positioned near Solana’s current price.
The strongest nearby concentration above the market appears between approximately $106.50 and $108.
If SOL breaks above its intraday high of $106.67, the $107 to $108 zone could become the next important area to watch.
A move into this region could force some short positions to close, potentially adding more buying pressure.
Liquidation maps do not guarantee where price will move, but dense leverage clusters can become areas of increased volatility.
If SOL clears the $107 to $108 range, previous local highs around $110 to $112 could return to focus.
$103–$105 becomes an important support zone
There are also significant liquidity concentrations below Solana’s current price.
The nearest area sits between approximately $103 and $105.
That means buyers will likely want to keep SOL above $103 if the current breakout is going to remain intact.
Below that range, another important support zone appears around $100 to $101.
The $100 level is especially important because it combines psychological support, technical indicators and on-chain activity.
A break below $100 could weaken the current bullish setup.
Analysts see $100 as a key Solana level
Crypto analyst Ali Martinez pointed to on-chain data showing that more than 40 million SOL reportedly changed hands around $100.
He described the area as an important support floor.
High transaction activity around a particular price can become relevant because many market participants may have established positions there.
If SOL returns to that level, some holders may defend it, while others may choose to exit depending on broader market conditions.
The daily 20-day moving average near $101.87 and liquidation clusters around $100 to $103 add further technical importance to the same region.
Longer-term Solana targets remain highly speculative
Martinez also highlighted a possible cup-and-handle structure on Solana’s weekly chart.
The pattern reportedly has a neckline near $360.
According to the analyst, a confirmed breakout above that level could create a much larger long-term target around $1,300.
However, that projection remains far above Solana’s current price and depends on a breakout that has not yet occurred.
SOL would first need to move through several much closer resistance zones, including $108, $112 and $130.
As a result, these nearer levels are likely more relevant to the current market structure.
Analysts also watch $130
Pseudonymous crypto analyst Scient offered a more immediate bullish target.
The analyst suggested that Solana could extend toward $130 following its latest daily support-and-resistance flip.
Scient said the $130 region could become an area for reducing exposure while looking for a possible re-entry closer to $90.
This represents one analyst’s trading outlook rather than a guaranteed market outcome.
For the current setup, $100 remains the more important dividing line between the broader bullish recovery and a potential return to deeper support.
Key Solana resistance levels
The first major resistance sits near Solana’s recent intraday high of $106.67.
A decisive move above that level could expose the liquidity cluster between $107 and $108.
If buyers successfully clear that range, the next resistance area is around $110 to $112.
Beyond those levels, $130 has been identified by some analysts as a larger technical target.
However, each resistance level would need to be cleared before the market could reasonably focus on higher targets.
Key Solana support levels
On the downside, the $103 to $105 range is the first support area to watch.
This zone represents the recent breakout region and contains significant leverage activity.
Below that, the $100 to $101 area could provide stronger support.
The daily 20-day moving average also sits close to this range.
If Solana breaks decisively below $100, the bullish breakout would weaken and attention could shift toward the four-hour lower Bollinger Band near $94.71.
A deeper correction could eventually bring the 50-day moving average near $90.62 into focus.
What comes next for Solana price?
Solana’s short-term structure remains favorable for buyers as long as the token stays above the $103 breakout area and the 20-day moving average near $101.87.
A move above $106.67 could open the way toward $107 to $108, followed by resistance near $110 to $112.
However, momentum indicators show that traders should also watch for a possible slowdown.
The four-hour RSI is already above 70, while SOL has moved beyond the upper Bollinger Band.
These conditions can occur during strong rallies, but they can also increase the chances of short-term profit-taking.
If SOL loses $103, a retest of the $100 region could follow.
A sustained move below $100 would weaken the current setup and could expose lower support around $95 and $90.
For now, Solana remains above its major moving averages, but the next phase will likely depend on whether buyers can turn the $103 to $105 breakout zone into reliable support.
