Paxos is taking a major step toward building a unified, regulated multichain stablecoin ecosystem with the launch of USDG0, an omnichain extension of its USDG stablecoin. The rollout begins with three fast-growing networks Plume, Hyperliquid, and Aptos which will serve as the first deployment hubs for the new asset.
According to a Nov. 24 press release, the expansion leverages LayerZero’s Omnichain-Fungible Token (OFT) standard, enabling USDG0 to move seamlessly across chains without bridges, wrapped tokens, or fragmented liquidity pools.
A Fully Backed, Omnichain Version of USDG
USDG0 maintains the same regulatory foundation as USDG:
- 1:1 backing with cash, U.S. Treasury bills, and cash equivalents
- Monthly attestations conducted by Withum
- A structure that keeps USDG locked in audited contracts while USDG0 circulates natively across networks
Paxos describes USDG0 as the unified liquidity layer for its stablecoin allowing the asset to travel cross-chain instantly with full regulatory visibility.
Why Plume, Hyperliquid, and Aptos Were Selected
Each of the three launch networks offers a specialized environment that aligns with Paxos’ strategic goals.
🟣 Plume: Real-World Assets (RWAs) and Retail Distribution
Plume highlighted that its inclusion in the initial rollout positions the chain as a major distribution hub for compliant stablecoin liquidity. The network has:

Aptos becomes the first chain to deploy a Move-native OFT stablecoin via LayerZero. The Aptos Foundation says USDG0 is a natural fit for:
