TAO Alpha PLC, a U.K.-based firm currently focused on artificial intelligence and infrastructure, is taking a major leap into the world of Bitcoin. The publicly listed company announced it’s rebranding as Satsuma Technology and bringing on well-known internet personality and Bitcoin advocate Mark Moss as its new Chief Bitcoin Strategist.
According to a press release shared with crypto.news, Moss will officially step into his new role on August 1, 2025. Around the same time, TAO Alpha plans to wrap up its private investor offering for both U.K. and U.S. investors, which kicked off on June 24 and June 27 respectively.
The move signals the company’s intention to build its own Bitcoin treasury strategy—a growing trend among forward-looking firms. Moss will work closely with the Board of Directors to shape and execute this Bitcoin-focused plan, ensuring the treasury can grow and support Satsuma’s core business operations. Potential initiatives include raising “non-dilutive” capital and generating yield from BTC holdings.

Mark Moss is a familiar face in crypto circles. An American entrepreneur, investor, and educator, Moss entered the crypto space back in 2015 when he launched Block United, which later became Signal Profits.
His YouTube channel, simply titled Mark Moss, has amassed around 713,000 subscribers and features over 1,300 videos covering Bitcoin, macroeconomics, and investment strategies. His mission? Helping institutions and individuals understand how to incorporate Bitcoin into treasury strategies.
