The financing involves 28 banks across several international markets and ranks among the largest corporate loans arranged in Asia during 2026.
ByteDance initially sought around $20 billion, but strong demand from lenders allowed the privately held technology company to increase the size of the deal significantly.
The three-year unsecured facility can also be extended twice for one year, giving ByteDance a potential borrowing period of up to five years.

The facility has an initial term of three years.
ByteDance can potentially extend the agreement twice, with each extension adding one year.
If both extensions are exercised, the total borrowing period could reach five years.
The loan reportedly carries an opening interest margin of approximately 68 basis points above the Secured Overnight Financing Rate, or SOFR.
That pricing is relatively attractive for such a large corporate facility.
Bloomberg described the margin as one of the lowest secured by a Chinese corporate borrower in the offshore loan market.
