Mantle (MNT) is back in the spotlight after a strong rally that has brought the token within striking distance of its all-time high (ATH). With fresh momentum from Bybit campaigns and an upcoming perpetuals listing on Coinbase International Exchange, bulls are looking for a decisive breakout.
Price Rally Nears All-Time High
Since breaking above the key resistance at $0.85 in early August, MNT has surged 62%, climbing steadily toward its next major barrier at $1.40. At press time, it trades around $1.38, just 8% below its ATH of $1.50, last seen in April 2023.
The 7-day EMA has provided consistent support throughout the rally, helping MNT maintain momentum. While the RSI is overheated at 75, suggesting a pullback could be due, strong trading activity could still push the token past $1.40.
Trading volume is surging up 33% in the past 24 hours making MNT the 15th most-traded token by volume, according to CoinMarketCap.
What’s Driving MNT’s Rally?
1. Bybit Integration and Campaigns
Since August 14, MNT has been integrated across Bybit products, including:
- Earn, OTC trades, and EU Launchpool (with a 36% APR)
- Campaigns like the MNT Puzzle Hunt (250,000 USDT prize pool)
- MNT price prediction challenge (1,000 USDT reward)
- The EU Launchpool, where users can stake MNT to earn 100,000 XION
As a result, Bybit now accounts for 37% of MNT’s 24-hour trading volume, driving much of the current momentum.
On top of this, Mantle Network recently added two senior Bybit leaders Helen Liu and Emily Bao as key advisors, further deepening ties with the exchange.
2. Coinbase International Exchange Listing
Adding fuel to the rally, Coinbase International Exchange announced on August 18 that it will list MNT perpetual contracts, with trading set to begin on August 21. This move significantly broadens access to MNT for global traders.
What’s Next for MNT?
If MNT can break $1.40 with strong volume, the next target is clear: $1.50 ATH. Beyond that, a breakout could open the door for new highs if momentum continues.
On the downside, the 7-day EMA is the key support level to watch in case of a pullback, as it has consistently held during this rally.
