XRP’s momentum is roaring back as spot ETF listings on the DTCC fuel speculation that billions in institutional capital could soon flow into the token.
XRP Extends Gains on Surging Volume
XRP climbed 8.7% to $2.46 over the past 24 hours, marking one of its strongest daily moves in weeks. The token has traded between $2.12 and $2.46 recently and now sits near the top of that range, though still about 32% below its July high of $3.65.
Trading activity is accelerating sharply. Daily volume rose 54.9% to $3.93 billion, while derivatives volume jumped 56% to $6.43 billion. Open interest climbed 7% to $3.56 billion, suggesting traders are building new positions ahead of potential market catalysts.
Spot XRP ETFs Appear on DTCC Listing Roster
In a major development for XRP’s institutional narrative, multiple spot XRP ETFs have appeared on the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) website as of Nov. 10.
The DTCC serves as the backbone of the U.S. financial system, clearing nearly every stock and ETF trade. Placement under its “active and pre-launch” section means these funds have completed key operational steps like custody integration and settlement setup an essential milestone before trading can go live.
The newly listed ETFs include:
- Franklin XRP Trust (XRPZ)
- 21Shares XRP ETF (TOXR)
- Bitwise XRP ETF (XRP)
- Canary XRP ETF (XRPC)
- CoinShares XRP ETF (XRPL)
Other filings, including REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) and Volatility Shares 2x XRP (XRPT), indicate that leveraged products are also in development.
Industry insiders expect the first wave of launches as early as mid-November, possibly around Nov. 13. If approved, these ETFs could mirror the institutional impact of Bitcoin ETF approvals, potentially unlocking billions in new inflows from Wall Street.
Technical Setup Points to Further Upside
On the charts, XRP is showing renewed bullish momentum. The token is trading along the upper Bollinger Band, and its Relative Strength Index (RSI) sits at 50, signaling room for further gains before becoming overbought.
The immediate resistance lies near $2.70, where the 50-day moving average converges with the top of the current range.
- A breakout above $2.70 could open the door to $3.00 and possibly a retest of the $3.65 July high.
- On the downside, $2.17 remains key support losing that level could invite short-term selling pressure.
With trading momentum rising and ETF anticipation building, the path of least resistance appears tilted upward in the short term.
Outlook: ETF Buzz Could Redefine XRP’s Market Narrative
If spot XRP ETFs secure approval in the coming days, it could mark a turning point for XRP’s institutional legitimacy bringing regulated access, liquidity depth, and mainstream recognition similar to Bitcoin’s ETF era.
For now, traders are positioning early, betting that XRP’s ETF catalyst could finally push it toward a sustained breakout phase.
