Financial author and investor Robert Kiyosaki says the global economy has entered what he calls the “biggest crash in world history,” urging investors to shift toward safe-haven assets like silver, gold, Bitcoin, and Ethereum.
The Rich Dad Poor Dad author has long warned of an incoming financial collapse, and he now claims the moment has arrived. “It’s not just the U.S. Europe and Asia are crashing,” he said in a recent post on X, referencing predictions he outlined in his 2013 book Rich Dad’s Prophecy.
Silver Is the “Best and Safest” Asset, Kiyosaki Claims
Among all the assets he recommends, Kiyosaki highlighted silver as the strongest opportunity right now.
“Silver is the best and the safest,” he wrote, noting that the metal is currently trading near $50. He predicts silver will reach $70 in the near term and $200 by 2026, calling it the most compelling asset for anyone looking to protect their wealth during the downturn.
Kiyosaki also warned that rapid advances in AI will eliminate millions of jobs globally, which in turn could trigger major crashes in office and residential real estate.
Kiyosaki Sold $2.25M in Bitcoin at $90K Reinvested in Business Ventures
The warning comes shortly after Kiyosaki revealed he had sold $2.25 million worth of Bitcoin at around $90,000 per coin. He originally purchased the Bitcoin at $6,000, giving him massive gains.
Rather than holding the profits, he reinvested them into two surgery centers and a billboard business, which he expects will generate roughly $27,500 per month in tax-free income by February 2026.
Despite his recent sale, Kiyosaki says he remains strongly bullish on Bitcoin.
“I am still very optimistic and will begin acquiring more with my positive cash flow,” he wrote, explaining that his long-term wealth strategy involves combining hard assets with income-generating businesses.
Crash Will Make Some Richer If They Prepare, He Says
Kiyosaki maintains that while the unfolding crash will wipe out millions financially, those who prepare early could come out wealthier.
“The good news is while millions will lose everything… if you are prepared… this crash will make you richer,” he said.
He also mentioned that advisers urged him not to disclose details of his Bitcoin sale and real estate moves. “Too many sickos out there,” he noted, but said transparency remains important to him.
