Falcon Stable, a synthetic stablecoin protocol backed by DWF Labs, has officially announced the integration of its U.S. dollar–pegged token USDf into Kaia Chain, the core Web3 infrastructure behind the widely-used LINE messaging platform.
The move, confirmed by DWF Labs CEO Andrei Grachev, marks a major step in bringing stablecoin-based yield opportunities to over 250 million LINE users across East Asia and beyond.
USDf Comes to LINE via Kaia Chain
“Together, we bring sustainable and innovative stablecoin yield solutions for more than 250 million LINE users BUIDL!” Grachev wrote in a recent post, unveiling the collaboration between Falcon Stable and Kaia Chain.
Through this integration, LINE users can now seamlessly access USDf within the app’s Mini Dapp and Dapp Portal—a gateway to decentralized applications powered by Kaia Chain. In addition, users will be able to stake their USDf to earn yield via the interest-bearing sUSDf token, which has delivered APYs exceeding 22%.
Falcon Stable: Synthetic Collateral for Yield-Generating Stablecoins
Unlike traditional stablecoins, USDf is minted via collateral deposits of diverse digital assets, including:
- Stablecoins like USDC and Tether (USDT)
- Major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)
- Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs)
This multi-asset collateral model underpins USDf’s value while enabling users to earn yield through staking, transforming passive holdings into income-generating instruments.
Falcon Stable, launched by Falcon Financial (a DWF Labs entity), now boasts a market cap nearing $560 million with over $1.7 million in 24-hour trading volume.
LINE’s Growing Web3 Footprint via Kaia
Kaia Chain, born from the merger of LINE’s Finschia and Kakao’s Klaytn, is now the official blockchain infrastructure for LINE’s Web3 features. Through Kaia, users access decentralized applications without traditional onboarding barriers, creating a frictionless experience for non-crypto natives.
This latest integration continues LINE’s steady embrace of blockchain technology. In August 2024, the platform introduced its first wave of mini dApps, aiming to bridge messaging and DeFi experiences within a single app.
