Jupiter has integrated Polymarket directly into its app, giving users native access to crypto’s largest prediction markets on Solana for the first time.
The integration, announced on Feb. 1, introduces a dedicated “Prediction” tab inside Jupiter, allowing users to trade event-based markets fully on-chain without bridging stablecoins, switching wallets, or leaving the platform.
Jupiter removes friction for prediction market traders
In a post on X, Jupiter said the move is part of its effort to turn the app into “the most innovative predictions platform on Solana,” combining Polymarket’s contracts with a streamlined trading experience.
Prediction markets have traditionally required users to juggle multiple tools moving funds across chains, interacting with separate interfaces, and managing additional wallets. By embedding Polymarket directly into Jupiter, the DEX collapses those steps into a single workflow, lowering the barrier for everyday users to participate in event-driven trading.
With the integration, Jupiter users can access prediction markets alongside spot swaps and other DeFi features, reinforcing its position as a one-stop consumer DeFi app.
Building on earlier prediction experiments
The Polymarket launch builds on Jupiter’s earlier experiments in the space. In late 2025, the platform rolled out a Kalshi-powered beta focused on sports and major events.
For Polymarket, the partnership provides deeper exposure to Solana’s fast-growing ecosystem and Jupiter’s large, active user base. Previous expansions relied on integrations with tools like MetaMask and World App, but the Jupiter collaboration adds a new, native distribution channel.
Analysts suggest that keeping users inside Jupiter’s ecosystem rather than routing them to external platforms could unlock meaningful new fee revenue over time.
Prediction markets surge as attention grows
The integration comes as prediction markets continue to gain momentum heading into 2026. Political outcomes, sports betting, and real-time speculation on economic and social events have driven rapid growth across the sector.
Industry data shows that roughly $12 billion in prediction market volume was recorded in January alone, generating more than $11 million in on-chain fees.
With an estimated valuation between $9 billion and $10 billion, Polymarket has emerged as the clear market leader. Its influence has expanded through data partnerships with major media outlets including Yahoo Finance, Dow Jones, and The Wall Street Journal.
Regulatory pressure has also eased. A 2024 proposal by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission that aimed to restrict political and sports-based prediction contracts was later withdrawn, reducing uncertainty for platforms operating in the space.
Some industry estimates suggest that, if adoption continues, annual prediction market volumes could eventually surpass $500 billion.
Bigger picture
By bringing Polymarket directly onto Solana through Jupiter, the integration highlights how prediction markets are moving closer to mainstream DeFi use. The deal strengthens Solana’s position in consumer-focused decentralized finance while signaling that event-based trading is becoming a core on-chain use case not a niche product.
