BONK has officially made its debut in Europe’s traditional financial markets. Swiss crypto ETP issuer Bitcoin Capital has launched the first regulated exchange-traded product (ETP) for the Solana-based meme coin on the SIX Swiss Exchange, one of Europe’s largest and most highly regulated trading venues.
The move brings BONK into the mainstream investment arena, offering institutions and retail investors exposure to the popular meme token without needing to use crypto-native platforms.
A Regulated Pathway to Meme Coin Exposure
Bitcoin Capital emphasized that the BONK ETP operates under Switzerland’s strong regulatory framework, giving investors a compliant and secure way to allocate to the token.
CEO Marcel Niederberger highlighted Switzerland’s clear digital asset guidelines and the robust infrastructure of the SIX Exchange as key factors behind choosing the venue. This combination, he said, makes Switzerland an ideal market for launching structured crypto investment products.
The trend aligns with the growing global appetite for regulated meme coin instruments. In recent months, markets have seen Dogecoin ETFs and various leveraged products roll out across U.S. exchanges.
Locked Tokens, Lower Circulating Supply
Bitcoin Capital plans to continue expanding its BONK-related offerings next year, including more ETPs and structured notes.
Under the current ETP structure:
- Bitcoin Capital locks the underlying BONK tokens,

- A mechanism that may increase the token’s scarcity depending on demand.
