Wormhole Labs has rolled out Sunrise, a new listing gateway built natively on Solana, giving major new tokens the ability to launch with instant day-one liquidity. The platform officially debuted on Nov. 23 and will support its first listing today with Monad’s MON token, marking a significant upgrade in how assets enter the Solana ecosystem.
A Unified Route for Day-One Token Launches on Solana
Sunrise is designed to solve a long-standing challenge in Solana DeFi: fragmented liquidity and delayed token availability. The platform acts as a single, standardized entry point for new assets, enabling them to become tradable on Solana’s decentralized exchanges within hours of launching.
At the center of Sunrise is Wormhole’s Native Token Transfer (NTT) framework, which lets projects move assets from external chains to Solana without wrapped tokens, multi-bridge routes, or liquidity fragmentation.
This means tokens arrive on Solana natively, making it easier for users, liquidity providers, and developers to adopt and integrate them.
Monad’s MON Is the First Asset to Go Live on Sunrise
The timing of the announcement coincides with Monad’s mainnet activation on Nov. 24. MON will be the first token supported on Sunrise, enabling users to:
- Transfer MON from Monad to Solana through NTT
- Access immediate liquidity
- Begin trading MON against USDC, SOL, and other Solana-based assets starting today
