Tron founder Justin Sun, who had invested $30 million in late 2024 (later valued at $75M), was accused of triggering turbulence after blockchain data showed a wallet linked to him moved $9 million worth of WLFI tokens to an exchange shortly after launch.
Community suspicions of dumping grew, and by September 3, 2025, World Liberty Financial blacklisted Sun’s wallet address. The freeze locked down 595 million unlocked tokens (worth over $100M) and 2.4 billion locked tokens.
