Intuition has officially launched its mainnet following an $8.5 million funding round, marking a major step toward building a decentralized infrastructure for verifiable, on-chain information a new foundation for what the team calls Information Finance (InfoFi).
A New Era for Verifiable Data
According to a press release shared with crypto.news, the Intuition mainnet went live on October 29, transitioning from beta and testnet phases into full production. The goal is to establish a public, composable trust layer for both the internet and artificial intelligence systems.
This new infrastructure allows developers, users, and AI systems to create, curate, and access verified on-chain information effectively turning data itself into a programmable, verifiable, and monetizable asset class.
Powered by Arbitrum Orbit and Base
The Intuition network runs as an Arbitrum Orbit Layer-3 rollup, settling on Base, Coinbase’s Layer-2 blockchain. This design allows the system to achieve high throughput and low transaction costs, essential for handling massive amounts of data and metadata on-chain.
From Testnet Success to Mainnet Launch
Intuition’s testnet on Base attracted more than 244,000 users, processing over 5.3 million transactions and 5.1 million verified attestations. In its latest testing cycle, the network recorded 17.5 million transactions across 900,000 unique accounts in just eight weeks underscoring strong community engagement ahead of mainnet deployment.
So far, Intuition has raised a total of $8.5 million through venture investments and community token sales on CoinList and Legion. Backers include leading crypto firms such as Superscrypt, Shima Capital, Fidelity’s F-Prime, Consensys, and Polygon Labs (POL), alongside angel investors like Joseph Lubin (founder of Consensys) and Jonathan Christodoro (PayPal board member).
Building the Foundation for “Information Finance”
Founder and CEO Billy Luedtke described the mainnet launch as the culmination of years of work to make information itself decentralized and to share its value more fairly across the digital ecosystem.
“We’re moving beyond using decentralized rails solely for finance, toward decentralizing information itself,” Luedtke said. “This means people, communities, and AI agents can access the data they need, when they need it, from sources they trust without intermediaries and share directly in the value they help create.”
Just as cloud computing made it easy to share processing power, Intuition aims to make verified information a shared network resource. Developers can now build on top of an open, verifiable data layer without having to create their own databases or reputation systems from scratch.
How It Works: Atoms, Triples, and the Token-Curated Graph
At the heart of Intuition’s architecture are two data primitives:
- Atoms – Canonical, token-curated identifiers representing individual pieces of information (such as identities, concepts, or claims).
- Triples – Statements connecting Atoms in “subject–predicate–object” form, defining relationships between them.
Together, these components create a Token Curated Graph (TCG) that determines the relevance and credibility of information through staking, bonding curves, and fee flows.
The network’s native token, $TRUST, powers all economic and governance activities including gas payments, data creation, staking for curation, governance via bonded tokens, and query fees. Users contributing valuable knowledge can earn fractional ownership of the data they help curate.
Partnerships and Future Plans
Following the mainnet launch, Intuition plans to expand by collaborating with major players across both Web2 and Web3, including Google Cloud, MetaMask, Zero Gravity (0g), World, Fleek, Recall Network, Consensys, and Gaia.
By combining blockchain transparency with AI-driven intelligence, Intuition hopes to reduce the spread of unreliable data and give both people and machines access to trustworthy, on-chain information with verifiable provenance.
In doing so, Intuition positions itself as a pioneer of Information Finance an emerging frontier where data itself becomes a valuable digital asset, powering the next evolution of the internet and artificial intelligence.
