The data analytics giant reported a stunning 48% surge in revenue during the second half of 2025, breaking past the \$1 billion mark in quarterly earnings for the first time ever. Now, investors are wondering: could crypto AI tokens be the next to ride the wave?
Palantir’s AI-Fueled Growth Shocks Wall Street
Palantir’s growth blew past expectations. While analysts had pegged its Q2 revenue around \$940 million, the actual results came in at over \$1 billion fueled by soaring demand for AI-powered services. A major driver? The U.S. Army reportedly considering a \$10 billion contract over 10 years, which would be a huge validation of Palantir’s tech.
The market reacted fast. Palantir’s stock jumped 4.14% on August 5, reaching as high as \$168 in pre-market trading, up from \$160.66 the day before. Over the past month, shares are up 15.48%, thanks in part to speculation around the military partnership.
Following this strong quarter, Palantir raised its full-year revenue forecast for the second time this year—now projecting between \$4.14 and \$4.15 billion, up from a previous estimate of \$3.89–\$3.90 billion. The company expects continued demand from both enterprise clients and government agencies for AI-driven solutions.
Is the Crypto AI Sector Next?
The excitement around AI isn’t limited to traditional tech. Palantir’s big moment has sent ripples through the crypto market too. According to CoinGecko, the market cap for AI-related crypto tokens rose to \$27.8 billion in the past 24 hours a 1% increase. Notably, the AI agent sector led with a 1.91% bump.
Over the past month, the AI crypto sector has outpaced much of the broader crypto market. AI tokens have flirted with a \$30 billion market cap, and they now make up nearly 0.9% of the entire \$3.9 trillion crypto market.
From July 5 to August 5—the same timeframe as Palantir’s rally the AI applications segment grew 33.32%, jumping from \$1.04 billion to \$1.39 billion. Bittensor Subnets also saw a 26.68% rise.
Tokens to Watch in the AI Boom
Mamo (MAMO):
Now trading at \$0.16, Mamo has attracted attention with a 30-day gain of over 170%. It hit a recent all-time high of \$0.18 in mid-July and is positioning itself as a key player in DeFi automation. With a market cap around \$53 million and daily trading volume of \$11.8 million, Mamo is gaining serious traction.
NEAR Protocol (NEAR):
NEAR has been on the rise thanks to its integration of AI tools. The token is currently trading at \$2.50, up 18.2% over the past month. It briefly touched \$3.04 in mid-July and is now testing key resistance around the \$3.00 level. If it clears that zone, consolidation and further upside could follow.
Bittensor (TAO):
As one of the largest AI-centric tokens, TAO remains a top contender despite recent volatility. It’s trading at \$351 after dipping 1.4%, but the range between \$330 and \$440 continues to define its trend. If momentum returns and TAO breaks above \$400, the next leg could push it toward \$480–\$500.
