Grayscale is keeping busy in the crypto world, expanding the list of digital assets it’s watching for potential new investment products. The leading crypto asset manager announced it has added 28 new tokens to its list of assets under consideration, spanning a variety of sectors within its Crypto Sectors framework.
This update comes as part of Grayscale’s regular quarterly review, signaling the company’s ongoing efforts to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital asset market.
New Tokens Across Multiple Sectors
In the Smart Contract Platforms category, the new tokens under review include:
- Celo (CELO)
- Mantle (MNT)
- Monad
- Toncoin (TON)
- MegaETH
These join existing heavyweights like Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) already on Grayscale’s radar.
The Financials sector saw several additions too, including:
- Binance Coin (BNB)
- Ethena (ENA)
- Hyperliquid (HYPE)
- Kamino Finance
- Morpho (MORPHO)
- Plume Network
Meanwhile, the booming AI sector is getting attention with new entries like:
- Aixbt (AIXBT)
- Grass
- Prime Intellect
- Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL)
And in the Utilities & Services space, Grayscale has added:
- Jito
- Walrus
- Wormhole
- LayerZero
Interestingly, 11 of the 28 new tokens have not yet been assigned to any specific sector within Grayscale’s framework.
Evaluation Stage, Not Product Launch… Yet
It’s important to note that these tokens are simply under review for possible inclusion in Grayscale’s single-asset or multi-asset investment products. There’s no guarantee any of them will become part of Grayscale’s official offerings just yet but inclusion on the list does signal growing institutional interest and potential.
Ties to Recent Portfolio Changes
This latest move follows Grayscale’s recent updates to its Q3 2025 Top 20 list, where it added Avalanche (AVAX) due to a spike in transactions and user activity, and Morpho (MORPHO) for its impressive growth as the second-largest decentralized lending protocol by Total Value Locked (TVL).
While being listed among Grayscale’s “assets under consideration” doesn’t mean a token will necessarily make it into a future investment product, it does highlight Grayscale’s active role in exploring emerging crypto projects and sectors.
Investors and crypto enthusiasts alike will be watching closely to see which tokens might eventually make the leap from the consideration list into Grayscale’s suite of investment products.
