Chainlink (LINK) has been on a tear over the past 24 hours, climbing more than 8% to hit an intraday high of $24.07 its best level in six months. The surge comes as the blockchain oracle network celebrates a major milestone: its total value secured (TVS) has now crossed $93 billion.
This marks a remarkable 90% increase in TVS so far in 2025. In simple terms, TVS represents the total value of assets that Chainlink helps secure across hundreds of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, from canonical bridges to externally bridged assets and native tokens. As of now, over $93.5 billion worth of assets are locked in Chainlink-powered smart contracts.
What’s Driving the Rally?
Two major developments have boosted investor confidence:
- Chainlink Data Streams: A new feature delivering real-time market data for U.S. equities and ETFs.
- Chainlink Reserve: An onchain reserve designed to support the long-term growth of the network by aggressively accumulating LINK tokens. The initiative uses both offchain revenue from enterprise partners and onchain service fees to buy LINK with over $1 million already collected as of August 7, 2025.
Adding to the excitement, Chainlink has also teamed up with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. This partnership will bring real-time, onchain pricing data for foreign exchange and precious metals a move that could significantly expand Chainlink’s real-world use cases.
LINK’s latest rally puts it back in the spotlight. While it’s still shy of its December peak near $30 and well below its all-time high of $52.88 in May 2021 the combination of network growth, major partnerships, and a ballooning TVS has given bulls plenty to cheer about.
