Monero could be setting up for a major breakout after quietly building a strong long-term uptrend, according to crypto analyst Kevin Svenson, who believes the privacy-focused coin may be heading toward new all-time highs by mid-2026.
Svenson says Monero has been forming a two-year parabolic trend that has largely gone unnoticed while much of the broader crypto market has struggled to regain momentum. Based on technical chart analysis, he suggests the structure could support a rally of more than 80% from current levels if the trend continues to play out.
According to the analyst, Monero is now approaching its previous all-time high zone, a level that often acts as a critical decision point for long-term price direction. If the parabolic trend holds, Svenson believes Monero could push into price discovery territory around July 2026.
Beyond price action, Monero’s fundamentals appear to be supporting the bullish technical outlook. Data from analytics firm Santiment shows that Monero remains one of the most actively developed privacy-focused cryptocurrencies. Over the past 30 days, the project recorded multiple notable GitHub events, placing it among the top privacy coins in terms of developer activity.
Sustained development is often viewed as a positive signal, indicating ongoing improvements, maintenance, and long-term commitment from contributors. For privacy-focused projects like Monero, continued protocol development is especially important as regulatory scrutiny and technological demands evolve.
Svenson’s bullish outlook stands out at a time when many cryptocurrencies remain range-bound and investor sentiment across the market is mixed. While his projection has not yet been echoed by a broader group of analysts, the combination of long-term technical strength and consistent development activity makes Monero a notable outlier in the current market environment.
As always, market conditions can change quickly, but if Monero’s two-year parabolic structure remains intact, the privacy coin could be positioning itself for one of its strongest moves in years.
