The world of crypto trading just collided with high-octane motorsport and it’s no coincidence.
Over the weekend, Bitget made its presence felt at the German Grand Prix in Sachsenring, part of its multi-million dollar partnership with MotoGP. The exchange didn’t just slap its logo on the track; it went full throttle with an interactive fan zone, complete with a MotoGP bike simulator, branded merchandise, and real-time engagement with thousands of racing fans.
For Bitget, this isn’t just about visibility it’s about making crypto feel as thrilling as the races themselves.

And the exchange isn’t stopping there. Bitget also rolled out a new initiative the Smarter Speed Challenge, a racing-inspired minigame that rewards users who interact with it on the Bitget platform. Think of it as a digital pit stop where players can score exclusive perks just for joining the ride.
🏁 Crypto’s Sports Strategy Accelerates
Bitget’s MotoGP play is part of a broader trend. Crypto firms are doubling down on sports partnerships to reach mainstream audiences. In the 2024–2025 season alone, the industry spent a whopping $565 million on sports deals a 20% increase from the year before.
While Crypto.com remains the top spender, pouring cash into deals like the UEFA Champions League and Formula One (combined $213 million), Bitget is carving out its niche in motorsports with a laser focus.
Interestingly, while current spending is strong, the industry hasn’t quite matched its pre-FTX boom. Back in 2022–2023, crypto sponsorships hit a record $685 million just before the FTX fallout cooled the market.
Still, partnerships like Bitget’s show the industry is bouncing back not just financially, but creatively.
