Binance Wallet has announced its eighth exclusive Token Generation Event (TGE), this time spotlighting StakeStone (STO) — an omnichain liquidity protocol aimed at solving DeFi’s liquidity fragmentation problem. The event will be held on April 3, from 08:00 AM to 08:30 AM UTC, offering users the chance to subscribe for a share of the project’s native tokens.
According to the official announcement on X (formerly Twitter), Binance Wallet users will be able to subscribe to the event through PancakeSwap and gain early exposure to StakeStone’s STO token. A total of 10 million STO tokens have been earmarked for future marketing campaigns, with more specific details to be announced soon.
What is StakeStone?
StakeStone is a Web3 infrastructure protocol that addresses the issue of liquidity fragmentation in decentralized finance. In the current multi-chain landscape, liquidity is often scattered across disparate networks, making it expensive and complex to move assets. StakeStone aims to streamline omnichain liquidity, enabling smooth, cost-effective transfers between blockchains and improving capital efficiency for both users and dApps.
At the core of StakeStone’s ecosystem are two key tokens:
- STO (StakeStone Token): An Omnichain Fungible Token built on LayerZero technology. Unlike traditional assets, STO can be moved across multiple chains without burning or re-minting, preserving utility and reducing costs.
- veSTO (voting-escrowed STO): A governance and yield-boosting derivative earned by locking STO. veSTO empowers long-term token holders by enhancing their voting power and staking rewards within the protocol.
How to Participate in the TGE
To join the StakeStone TGE, users must:
- Set up a Binance Wallet (Keyless) and fund it with BNB.
- Log in to their Binance account and access the Exclusive TGE Subscription Page.
- Connect their Binance Wallet to the page and subscribe by depositing BNB.
- Upon confirmation, users will see how many STO tokens they’ve successfully subscribed to.
Binance Wallet’s exclusive TGEs are known for featuring high-potential projects. Previous TGEs have introduced users to platforms like Bedrock, Bubblemaps, MyShell, and Particle Network. Each event provides early access to innovative Web3 protocols — but Binance also emphasizes the importance of user due diligence before investing.
The Bigger Picture
With increasing demand for cross-chain liquidity solutions, StakeStone is emerging as a key player in the DeFi infrastructure space. Its LayerZero-based architecture and omnichain token design offer a compelling solution for users navigating the complexities of a fragmented blockchain ecosystem.
The upcoming TGE represents both an opportunity for early supporters and a significant step for StakeStone as it accelerates adoption across Web3 platforms.
