In a significant development for the blockchain gaming space, NXPC, the native token of Nexpace the Web3 subsidiary of South Korean video game giant Nexon is set to go live on Binance Alpha and several top-tier exchanges. The move marks a major step forward in Nexon’s transition into blockchain-integrated gaming, with the token set to fuel the MapleStory Universe, a Web3 reimagining of the iconic 2D MMORPG, MapleStory.
NXPC Listing Timeline and Airdrop Campaign
According to Binance’s announcement on May 14, NXPC will be available for trading on Binance Alpha starting May 15, 2025, at 6:00 AM UTC. Shortly after, at 6:30 AM UTC, Binance Futures will launch NXPC perpetual contracts with leverage of up to 50x, allowing derivative traders to speculate on the token’s future performance.
Ahead of the listing, Binance is supporting NXPC’s token generation event (TGE) through an airdrop campaign. Eligible Binance Alpha users who meet specific Alpha Points thresholds can claim NXPC tokens via the Alpha Events Page between May 15, 6:00 AM UTC and May 16, 5:59 AM UTC. The number of tokens distributed per user will depend on their Alpha Points balance and individual eligibility.
No Spot Listing Yet But Major Exchange Backing Is Strong
While NXPC’s launch on Binance Alpha and Futures is confirmed, Binance Spot listing is not yet guaranteed. The token must still undergo Binance’s internal review and compliance procedures before a spot market listing can be confirmed.
Despite that, NXPC’s debut is gaining traction across the crypto ecosystem. In addition to Binance Alpha, KuCoin, Bitget, Gate.io, Upbit, and Bithumb all tier-1 exchanges have announced support for NXPC listings.
