That prediction has now been challenged by <strong>Bitcoin\u2019s impressive rebound past $100,000 on May 8<\/strong>, sparked in part by renewed global optimism after President Trump announced a major trade deal with the U.K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cI apologize for the incorrect prediction. Historically, Bitcoin market cycles were dictated by <strong>profit-taking patterns<\/strong> typically led by whales selling at price peaks, triggering subsequent sell-offs.
