Although slightly below last week\u2019s high of $156, Solana remains one of the most bullish large-cap cryptocurrencies amid accelerating ecosystem growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solana Dominates Ethereum in Key Metrics<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Data from blockchain analytics platform Nansen shows that Solana processed more than <strong>410 million transactions in the past seven days<\/strong>, a 10% weekly increase. This remarkable activity far outpaced Ethereum, which handled just <strong>8.6 million transactions<\/strong> during the same period making Solana <strong>47 times more active<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surge was largely attributed to the explosive performance of meme coins on Solana, including <strong>Fartcoin<\/strong>, <strong>Dogecoin<\/strong>, <strong>Bonk<\/strong>, and <strong>Official Trump<\/strong>, which have drawn significant retail interest and trading volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This heightened on-chain activity led to <strong>$9.3 million in fees collected<\/strong> by the Solana network last week, a 22% increase, while Ethereum collected only <strong>$4.45 million<\/strong> in fees despite its longer-standing DeFi presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past 30 days, the gap has widened further: Solana has processed <strong>1.58 billion transactions<\/strong>, compared to Ethereum\u2019s <strong>36 million<\/strong>. In terms of fee revenue year-to-date, <strong>Solana has generated over $400 million<\/strong>, significantly ahead of Ethereum&#8217;s <strong>$241 million<\/strong>, according to TokenTerminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DEX Volume and DeFi Ecosystem Growth<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Solana is also gaining momentum in decentralized finance (DeFi). Over the last 30 days, Solana\u2019s decentralized exchanges (DEXs) recorded over <strong>$68 billion in trading volume<\/strong>, eclipsing Ethereum\u2019s <strong>$56 billion<\/strong>. This is a testament to Solana\u2019s lower fees, faster speeds, and growing developer and user adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical Outlook: Bullish Flag Formation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From a technical standpoint, Solana is forming a <strong>bullish flag pattern<\/strong>, characterized by a sharp rally (flagpole) followed by a period of consolidation. This pattern is often considered a precursor to a breakout continuation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Solana remains above its critical support zone at <strong>$121<\/strong>, which served as a key floor in mid-to-late 2024. The token is also trading above both its <strong>25-day and 50-day Weighted Moving Averages (WMAs)<\/strong>, adding confidence to the bullish scenario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If SOL breaks out of the current consolidation range, analysts see <strong>$200<\/strong> as the next psychological and technical target representing a <strong>32% upside<\/strong> from current levels.
