The bill aims to provide regulatory clarity for <strong>USD-backed stablecoins<\/strong> like <strong>USDC<\/strong> and <strong>USDT<\/strong>, focusing on transparency, reserves, and oversight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, the <strong>Senate Banking Committee<\/strong> is reviewing the <strong>GENIUS Act<\/strong>, introduced by <strong>Senator Bill Hagerty<\/strong>, which proposes a comprehensive federal framework for <strong>stablecoin issuers<\/strong>, covering licensing, audits, and reserve standards.
