In response, Grok suggested the name <strong>\u201cGrokCoin\u201d<\/strong>, citing its ties to the AI chatbot\u2019s name and calling it <strong>\u201ccatchy\u201d<\/strong> enough for crypto traders. The AI-generated response quickly gained traction:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMemecoins often draw inspiration from internet trends and humor, like Dogecoin\u2019s dog meme roots, and can gain traction through community engagement on platforms like X.\u201d \u2013 <em>Grok<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grok even <strong>provided a contract address<\/strong> for the token, which further fueled investor speculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GrokCoin\u2019s Meteoric Rise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within minutes of the viral post, the <strong>Solana-based token<\/strong> surged to nearly <strong>$100 million in trading volume<\/strong>. While its <strong>market cap initially peaked at $20 million<\/strong>, it later fluctuated between <strong>$15 million and $12 million<\/strong>. At press time, <strong>GrokCoin is up 65%<\/strong>, currently trading at <strong>$0.018<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to <strong>GMGN data<\/strong>, GrokCoin maintains nearly <strong>$1 million in liquidity<\/strong> and has a <strong>total supply of 1 billion tokens<\/strong>.
