In a statement on <strong>March 7<\/strong>, the firm denied allegations of insider dumping and emphasized that it had no prior knowledge of the listing. The team only became aware when the public announcement was made and immediately began working with Binance to meet any additional requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEverything happened rapidly, and our team only learned about the listing when the public announcement was made, after which we immediately worked to cooperate with Binance.\u201d \u2013 <em>GoPlus Security<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Investigation Underway<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the steep decline in GPS token value, GoPlus Security has formed an <strong>internal investigation team<\/strong> to analyze the reasons behind the sudden drop. The firm also disclosed that on the <strong>day of the listing<\/strong>, it transferred <strong>500 million GPS tokens to Binance<\/strong>, of which:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>300 million GPS<\/strong> tokens were distributed as rewards for Binance\u2019s <strong>BNB HODLer program<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>200 million GPS<\/strong> tokens remain earmarked for <strong>future marketing efforts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Binance\u2019s Response and Market Maker Activity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the sharp decline, <strong>Binance announced it would extend the monitoring tag<\/strong> to GPS due to its <strong>significant price drop immediately after the listing<\/strong> and certain <strong>market-making behaviors<\/strong> observed from one of GPS\u2019 market makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Future Outlook<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>GoPlus Security has assured the public that it is working with Binance to uncover the cause of the sudden price drop and will release further updates as the investigation progresses.
