Additionally, the central bank emphasized that payments using the digital shekel would be <strong>fast and efficient<\/strong>, with <strong>support for offline payments<\/strong> to ensure usability in various scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy and Cross-Network Transactions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To address <strong>privacy concerns<\/strong>, the Bank of Israel stated that the digital shekel would offer a <strong>higher level of privacy compared to existing digital payment systems<\/strong>.
