In a February 28 post on X (formerly Twitter)<\/strong>, Adams shared his dissatisfaction with the advisory group\u2019s formation and messaging:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHonest, direct feedback: flowery language and a counsel of random people on Twitter is not what people have been asking for.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He clarified that his criticism was not directed at the 15 individuals chosen<\/strong> for the advisory group but rather at the overall purpose and execution<\/strong> of the initiative. Adams believes the move does little to ease concerns within the Ethereum community, which has been calling for more direct, practical, and transparent communication<\/strong> from the Ethereum Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to an Ethereum Foundation statement<\/strong>, the Silviculture Society<\/strong> consists of external advisors<\/strong> who provide informal counsel<\/strong> to ensure the Foundation upholds core values<\/strong> such as open source development, privacy, security, and censorship resistance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
