Bitdeer\u2019s total revenue for Q4 2024 dropped to $69 million, down from $114.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. The decline in revenue, coupled with the steep net loss, has been attributed to strategic investments in developing proprietary application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) technology. While these investments have temporarily slowed hashrate growth, they are expected to enhance Bitdeer\u2019s long-term competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of December 31, 2024, Bitdeer held $476.3 million in cash and cash equivalents, providing the company with financial flexibility despite its losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the April 2024 Bitcoin halving event, daily mining rewards were reduced from 900 to 450 BTC, increasing the cost of mining.
