For Ault Blockchain, however, this debate is more than just a philosophical argument about decentralization. It comes from firsthand experience with the limitations of the traditional banking system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ault Blockchain was developed after founder Todd Ault experienced some of the challenges that regulated businesses can face when dealing with banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ault DEX is intended to provide dedicated trading infrastructure, while Ault Affiliates focuses on distribution. Governance is expected to operate through a Wyoming DAO LLC structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Together, these elements are designed to create an ecosystem where trading, settlement, distribution and governance are connected directly to the underlying blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project’s relationship with Hyperscale Data also gives it a different starting point from many crypto-native Layer 1 networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ault Blockchain was developed through a subsidiary of NYSE-listed Hyperscale Data. The project intends to bring elements of the parent company’s public-market auditing, reporting and disclosure standards into its blockchain ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This reflects a broader goal: combining permissionless blockchain infrastructure with the transparency and accountability expected from regulated financial organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ault Blockchain is also taking an unconventional approach to distributing its native $AULT token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Instead of relying on a traditional public token sale, the network plans to distribute tokens through a deterministic emissions model spanning ten years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The emissions rate is designed to decline over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Licensed Mining Nodes can earn $AULT by performing verifiable off-chain work for the network. This could include services such as oracle operations, blockchain indexing and AI-related computing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rather than abandoning the controls associated with regulated finance, the project wants to preserve useful standards such as auditing, transparency and governance while removing unnecessary dependence on centralized banking intermediaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Whether the network can achieve that vision will ultimately depend on adoption and execution. But its strategy demonstrates how the next generation of blockchain infrastructure may focus less on fighting traditional finance and more on rebuilding its underlying rails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
