Alongside the ETH purchase, the company also repurchased <strong>6.1 million common shares<\/strong>, signaling continued confidence in both its treasury strategy and long-term growth plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">BitMine edges closer to owning 5% of Ethereum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>BitMine&#8217;s Ethereum treasury now represents approximately <strong>4.8%<\/strong> of Ethereum&#8217;s reported circulating supply of <strong>120.7 million ETH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company refers to its long-term accumulation strategy as the <strong>&#8220;Alchemy of 5%&#8221;<\/strong>, with a target of acquiring roughly <strong>6.04 million ETH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the latest purchase, BitMine has already achieved about <strong>96%<\/strong> of that objective, leaving fewer than <strong>250,000 ETH<\/strong> needed to reach its milestone if Ethereum&#8217;s circulating supply remains unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Chairman <strong>Tom Lee<\/strong>, BitMine has purchased Ethereum every week since launching its treasury strategy in June 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ethereum dominates BitMine&#8217;s portfolio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Using an ETH reference price of <strong>$1,948<\/strong>, BitMine values its total investment portfolio at approximately <strong>$11.8 billion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The portfolio includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5.79 million ETH<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>208 Bitcoin (BTC)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$268 million<\/strong> in cash and marketable securities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$180 million<\/strong> investment in Beast Industries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>$61 million<\/strong> stake in Eightco Holdings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ethereum now accounts for the overwhelming majority of the company&#8217;s digital asset exposure, giving BitMine significant upside if ETH appreciates, while also increasing its exposure to market volatility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staking generates recurring revenue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond holding Ethereum, BitMine has placed a large portion of its assets into staking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company reports that <strong>4,917,189 ETH<\/strong>\u2014roughly <strong>85%<\/strong> of its total holdings\u2014has been staked through its <strong>Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN)<\/strong> and other validator partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on recent staking yields of approximately <strong>2.65%<\/strong>, management estimates that current operations could generate around <strong>$254 million<\/strong> in annualized revenue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the company eventually stakes its entire Ethereum balance, annual staking rewards could potentially reach <strong>$299 million<\/strong>, although these figures remain projections and may fluctuate as Ethereum network conditions change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Staking has already become BitMine&#8217;s primary revenue source.
