According to Kraken, each xStock is backed 1:1 by the underlying equity asset and issued as an on-chain token.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The products allow users to gain exposure to traditional financial markets while remaining within the crypto ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At launch, xStocks included tokenized versions of major assets such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tesla<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apple<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nvidia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Kraken expanded its tokenized asset strategy further after agreeing to acquire Backed Finance in late 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competition in tokenized equities continues growing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The tokenized stock market has become increasingly competitive as crypto firms race to bridge traditional finance and blockchain infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to RWA.xyz data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ondo Finance currently leads the sector with approximately $887.8 million in tokenized stock value.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>xStocks reportedly holds around $394.2 million in tokenized equity value.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Kraken previously announced that xStocks surpassed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>100 fully backed tokenized stocks and ETFs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>$25 billion in transaction volume<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The latest Bitget Wallet integration is expected to further increase accessibility and trading activity in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Self-custody becomes a major focus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key features of the integration is that users can access tokenized assets through a self-custodial wallet rather than a traditional brokerage account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means users maintain control over:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Private keys<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wallet access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asset custody<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Bitget Wallet said the platform supports both:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Request-for-quote liquidity systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automated market maker liquidity models<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company also stated that tokenized asset trading includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Zero trading fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gasless execution for supported transactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the products are currently unavailable in the United States, United Kingdom, and certain other restricted regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tokenized assets continue expanding beyond stocks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bitget executives believe the tokenized asset market is moving beyond equities alone.
