The service makes U.S. equities usable on-chain five days a week, addressing one of the biggest limitations facing equity-based DeFi products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The launch expands Chainlink\u2019s Data Streams offering and is now live across more than 40 blockchains, covering all major U.S. stocks and ETFs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bridging traditional market hours with on-chain trading<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Until now, most on-chain equity products depended on price feeds limited to standard U.S. trading hours. Outside those windows, price data often became stale, increasing risks for derivatives platforms, lending protocols, and synthetic asset markets operating around the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chainlink\u2019s new equity streams solve this problem by delivering sub-second price updates during extended trading sessions. In addition to mid-price data, the feeds include bid and ask prices, trading volume, last trade values, and indicators showing whether the market is in regular, pre-market, post-market, or overnight mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each data update is cryptographically signed, allowing smart contracts and protocols to verify data authenticity before execution. This added context helps platforms manage liquidations, funding rates, and margin requirements more accurately during off-hours, when price movements can still occur despite traditional exchanges being closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Early adoption across equity-focused DeFi platforms<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Several trading platforms have already integrated Chainlink\u2019s 24\/5 equity data to enable continuous stock-based products. Lighter, currently one of the largest perpetual futures decentralized exchanges by volume, is using the feeds to extend equity perpetuals beyond standard trading sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BitMEX has also adopted the data streams to support its equity derivatives with real-time risk management during extended hours. Other platforms integrating the service include ApeX, HelloTrade, Decibel, Monaco, Opinion Labs, and Orderly Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These integrations support a wide range of on-chain use cases, including equity perpetuals, prediction markets, synthetic stocks, and lending products linked to U.S. equities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rollout builds on Chainlink\u2019s earlier launch of real-time equity data in August 2025 and reflects growing demand for traditional asset exposure within decentralized markets.
