Trump Media & Technology Group has officially confirmed Feb. 2, 2026, as the record date for its upcoming shareholder crypto token airdrop, marking a new step in the company\u2019s expanding blockchain strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The record date will determine which investors are eligible to receive the digital token. To qualify, shareholders must own at least one full share of DJT stock and be listed as either a beneficial owner or a registered holder as of Feb. 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the announcement, Trump Media has partnered with Crypto.com, which will handle both the minting and custody of the non-transferable token on the blockchain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The initiative was first revealed on Dec. 31, when the company described the token as a shareholder reward rather than a financial instrument. Trump Media emphasized that the token will not represent equity ownership, voting rights, or any financial claim on the business. Instead, it is designed as a utility token offering access to exclusive benefits, perks, and discounts across the company\u2019s digital platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These utilities are expected to be tied to Trump Media\u2019s growing product ecosystem, including Truth Social, Truth+, and Truth Predict.
