Together, they introduced parallel execution and more advanced instruction processing, allowing the network to support increasingly complex DeFi and AI-driven applications with far greater efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, average block times dropped sharply from around three seconds to roughly 0.75 seconds, with developers now targeting sub-second blocks as low as 0.25 seconds. At the same time, transaction fees fell by an estimated 98 percent, making the network significantly cheaper to use for both retail users and high-volume traders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>User activity surged alongside these technical gains. By December, <strong>BNB Chain<\/strong> was recording close to 4.8 million daily active users and processing more than 15 million transactions per day. Much of that momentum came from new platforms launching on the network, particularly four.meme, which debuted in October and quickly became a major hub for meme-token trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At its peak, four.meme briefly generated more 24-hour revenue than Solana\u2019s Pump.fun and helped push BNB Chain to the top of Layer-1 networks by decentralized exchange volume. More than 100,000 new traders joined the platform in just one week, highlighting how meme trading acted as a gateway for broader ecosystem adoption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BNB\u2019s price performance reflected this growing on-chain activity. The token broke above the four-digit mark in October, reaching a new all-time high. Between the 30th and 33rd quarterly burns, approximately 6.25 million <strong>BNB<\/strong> were permanently removed from circulation, further tightening supply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derivatives activity also expanded rapidly. The Aster platform drew over two million users to its perpetuals trading products, while a gas-free promotion for stablecoin transactions boosted adoption even further. The zero-fee incentive, which covers gas costs for stablecoin transfers, has been extended through January 2026 and has already more than doubled stablecoin supply on the network while lifting weekly transaction volumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CoinMarketCap described BNB Chain\u2019s growth as structural rather than speculative, pointing to faster transaction execution, meme-driven onboarding, and frictionless stablecoin payments as the foundation for its expansion.
