JPMorgan is taking another major step into the crypto market, this time with a new Bitcoin-backed investment product designed specifically for institutional clients. According to newly released regulatory filings, the bank is preparing to issue structured notes tied to BlackRock\u2019s spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These notes give investors indirect exposure to Bitcoin without owning any BTC themselves<\/strong>. Instead, the product tracks the performance of BlackRock\u2019s IBIT ETF, offering institutional clients a more traditional, regulated way to benefit from Bitcoin\u2019s price movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What makes JPMorgan\u2019s product stand out is its structure. If held until 2028, the notes can offer up to 1.5x leveraged returns<\/strong>, depending on how Bitcoin performs. On top of that, investors may earn up to 16% returns<\/strong> if IBIT reaches certain price targets by December 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The notes also include a conditional protection feature<\/em>.
