The collaboration aims to bring <strong>crypto payments closer to everyday use<\/strong>, combining blockchain technology with travel-focused financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Crypto.com and Travel Wallet Sign MoU to Boost Crypto Payments<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On <strong>October 21, 2025<\/strong>, Crypto.com announced that it had signed a <strong>Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> with <strong>Travel Wallet<\/strong>, a mobile payments and exchange app used by over <strong>8 million people<\/strong> across South Korea and abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Travel Wallet enables users to <strong>hold, convert, and spend more than 40 currencies<\/strong>, processing over <strong>KRW 6 trillion ($4.3 billion)<\/strong> in transactions to date. Through this partnership, the company will become <strong>Crypto.com\u2019s primary issuing partner<\/strong> in South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Co-Branded Card and KRW Stablecoin in the Works<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the deal, the two firms plan to launch a <strong>co-branded prepaid card<\/strong> that supports <strong>both fiat and crypto payments<\/strong> worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Travel Wallet app will also integrate <strong>Crypto.com\u2019s crypto-as-a-service infrastructure<\/strong>, allowing users to <strong>buy, sell, and manage digital assets directly<\/strong> within the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A major highlight of the partnership is the development of a <strong>Korean won (KRW)-pegged stablecoin<\/strong>, which will be promoted jointly by both companies.
