Kaia describes it as a \u201cuniversally compliant\u201d platform that will integrate <strong>stablecoin payments, remittances, on\/off-ramps, yields, and access to over 100 decentralized apps<\/strong>\u2014all embedded directly into LINE Messenger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With nearly <strong>200 million monthly active users<\/strong>, LINE provides the scale to potentially make stablecoins a mainstream financial tool across Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stablecoin Orchestration for Asia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaia was created in 2024 through the merger of <strong>LINE\u2019s Finschia<\/strong> and <strong>Kakao\u2019s Klaytn<\/strong>, branding itself as Asia\u2019s <strong>\u201cstablecoin orchestration layer.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At launch, Project Unify will support multiple fiat-pegged stablecoins, including <strong>USD, JPY, KRW, THB, IDR, PHP, MYR, and SGD<\/strong>, offering users seamless access across borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <strong>Unify SDK<\/strong> will give developers and issuers the tools they need to integrate with the platform, while compliance remains a central focus especially in South Korea, where Kaia recently filed trademarks for a <strong>KRW-pegged stablecoin<\/strong> to anchor the ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LINE Messenger as the Distribution Engine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>LINE Messenger, widely used across <strong>Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia<\/strong>, will serve as the distribution layer for Project Unify.
