The purchase was made at an <strong>average price of 17.28 million yen (roughly $115,900)<\/strong> per Bitcoin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This move brings Metaplanet\u2019s total reserves to <strong>25,555 BTC<\/strong>, valued at approximately <strong>398.21 billion yen ($2.67 billion)<\/strong>. The company\u2019s cumulative average purchase price now stands at about <strong>15.58 million yen ($104,400)<\/strong> per BTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rapid Expansion of Bitcoin Treasury<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Metaplanet has been aggressively growing its Bitcoin position since launching its treasury program. The firm\u2019s stash has nearly doubled in just three months\u2014rising from <strong>13,350 BTC at the end of June<\/strong> to over <strong>25,500 BTC by late September<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To fund these purchases, Metaplanet has leaned on <strong>equity offerings and bond redemptions<\/strong>, mirroring the playbook of U.S. giant MicroStrategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The company also tracks its performance through a unique metric called <strong>\u201cBTC Yield,\u201d<\/strong> which measures Bitcoin growth per fully diluted share. Between July 1 and Sept. 22, BTC Yield grew <strong>10.3%<\/strong>, even with the dilution effects of share issuance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Backing From Capital Markets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Much of this growth has been powered by capital market activity.
