Hut 8<\/strong>, one of the world\u2019s largest Bitcoin mining firms, is doubling down on its growth strategy with a massive 1.5 gigawatt expansion<\/strong> across four new facilities in Texas, Illinois, and Louisiana. The move is set to lift the company\u2019s total managed capacity to more than 2.5 gigawatts across 19 sites<\/strong>, making it one of the most ambitious scale-ups in the crypto mining sector to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scaling Beyond Mining<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

According to Tuesday\u2019s announcement, Hut 8 is targeting regions where energy demand is climbing rapidly<\/strong>, allowing it to lock in favorable contracts early. Each of the new sites will feature modular architectures, giving the company flexibility to serve not just Bitcoin miners, but also AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and next-gen industrial applications<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
