Without access to the exchange, Windtree would no longer serve as an easy <strong>public-market proxy for BNB exposure<\/strong>, undermining its attempt to position itself as \u201cthe BNB MicroStrategy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">From Biotech to BNB Treasuries<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a struggling biotech firm, Windtree pivoted earlier this year into the crypto space by announcing plans to build a massive <strong>BNB treasury reserve<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On <strong>July 16<\/strong>, the company revealed a deal to purchase <strong>$60 million worth of BNB<\/strong> from <strong>Build and Build Corp.<\/strong>, with an option to acquire up to <strong>$140 million more<\/strong> bringing potential BNB purchases to <strong>$200 million<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Just a week later, on <strong>July 24<\/strong>, Windtree said it had secured <strong>$520 million in financing<\/strong>, including <strong>$500 million from an equity line of credit<\/strong> with an undisclosed financier and <strong>$20 million from a direct stock purchase<\/strong> by Build and Build Corp.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The pivot was designed to mirror <strong>MicroStrategy\u2019s Bitcoin strategy<\/strong>, turning Windtree into a leveraged vehicle for traditional investors looking to gain exposure to BNB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Delisting Means<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If delisted, Windtree will lose visibility and liquidity on a major U.S. exchange, making it far harder for retail and institutional investors to buy its stock.
